Our Goal

Kamping Kitbash organises unique and affordable non-profit events. In this way, we hope to be open and accessible to anyone.

Kamping Kitbash is a playground for miniature makers, worldbuilders, and storytellers. We embrace artistic freedom, creative risk-taking, and hands-on experimentation across tabletop games and role-playing worlds.

At the heart of Kamping Kitbash is community. We bring together artists, gamers, and makers from across the world to collaborate, share ideas, and build new narratives together.

From sculpting techniques to storytelling tools, Kamping Kitbash encourages knowledge exchange. We've developed our own methodologies we'd like to share!

Making magic!

At our events, you won’t find strict rules or step-by-step guides. Instead, we invite you to explore the unknown, embrace imperfection, and test new materials, techniques, and ideas.

Kitbashing, sculpting, storytelling, terrain-building, painting, printing, playing; we see all of these as creative tools. We encourage everyone to mix them freely, to build the weird and the wonderful, and to push the boundaries of what miniature art can be.

We create room for artistic risk, strange combinations, and joyful chaos, that’s where the real magic happens.

Art doesn’t have to be precious. It can be playful, messy, collaborative, and full of surprises. And that’s exactly how we like it.

Art & experiment

Co-creation & Connection

Let's think and experiment!

Foremost, we want to connect the web of creatives and hobbyists to exchange knowledge and enable artistic cross-pollination 🐝

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that making art together builds stronger communities. We build shared experiences; every event is an invitation to collaborate, experiment, and learn from one another.

We design our spaces to be welcoming, inclusive, and low-pressure; whether you're a seasoned pro, a curious beginner, or someone who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush in years. Everyone contributes in their own way: some bring materials, others bring ideas, stories, or simply encouragement. Together, we create things no one could have made alone.

This isn’t about competition or perfection. In our world, co-creation is not just a method, it’s a mindset.

Knowledge Exchange

We believe knowledge is meant to be shared, remixed, and passed along, just like miniatures. Whether it’s a clever way to sculpt a tree from wire, a trick to glue things together, or a method to run a safer, more inclusive event: what we learn, we share.

At Kamping Kitbash and our other events, learning happens everywhere. It happens around the table, in casual chats, through hands-on making, and shared mistakes. Our community is full of generous, curious people who bring their own skills, stories, and weird little hacks.

We document and share what works, so others can build on it. That includes:

  • 🛠️ Techniques and tutorials for miniature-making

  • 🧠 Creative prompts and collaborative exercises

  • 📝 Methods for inclusive community-building

  • 🧰 Tools for educators, organisers, and workshop leaders

Our goal is to create a living library that supports not only our community of makers, but also educators, cultural workers, and other collectives who want to bring play, craft, and collaboration into their own spaces.

Press kit

WHAT?
Kamping Kitbash is a festival which provides a space—through miniatures, RPGs, and hands-on collaboration, we fight loneliness, foster creativity, and make the hobby accessible to all.

WHY?
Because everyone deserves a space to create, play, and belong. Many queer, neurodivergent, and marginalized people lack access to a welcoming creative community.

GOBLINS!
We are building a community both on- and offline where we share knowledge, support each other and make space to experiment with art and play.
